Checking Out the Mir�� Automatic
There are many articles on w&w about cool looking, well priced quartz watches that end with the same, perhaps repetitious sentiment: "I love it, but I would love it more if it were an automatic." Often the comments on these posts support that sentiment too. One such watch was the blissfully simple and stylish Mir��. It was a pleasure to wear, a pleasure to look at, and if it had just had a beating heart, which frankly doesn't matter to a lot of consumers, it would have been hard to take off. Well, until now, there has not been a brand that has taken this call to heart. Not until the Mir�� Automatic.Staying nearly 100% true to the original design (it's a drop thicker at 11mm), the Mir�� Auto adds a Miyota 9015 and a domed Sapphire crystal into the mix, adding a lot more watch cred, without adding a lot more to the price. Looks like the Sub didn't get the 32xx movement. Buy now or wait until 2019
I've been putting off buying a SS Sub for the past month or two since we were so close to Baselworld at the time and I thought for sure a new Sub would be released with the updated 32xx movement. It looks like the 114060 will go unchanged for 2018. If you were considering a no-date Sub, would you buy now, or wait to see if 2019 models get an update? I am pretty happy with my current lineup which includes a Speedmaster as my daily. I'd love a Sub at some point, though

UK Insurance trouble.
I picked up my White Gold GMT 116719 BLRO today to go with my White Gold Daytona 116509.I phoned my insurer to add the BLRO, & they cancelled my cover!!I tried AssetSure who simply cover watches, jewellery etc, they wouldn’t cover them due to the values. As I have Private banking with NatWest, thankfully they have agreed to cover my home contents and buildings plus the watches etc for ?120 per month.The stipulation is i get written valuatuons on both watches.Any suggestions for me to get these valuations done pleass?My AD, Goldsmiths said they outsource now. 1st item is ?60 then ?50 for the next one....?110 seems too steep.
