APROO Strap change help
Hello all,I need some help. I have an APROO Grey Themes Titanium on a bracelet. Just love it. While at the boutique I picked up a rubber and a grey horn back straps for it. I am afraid of changing straps bc my tools won't budge the screws and I don't want to strip them. I even tried putting heat w hairdryer I loosen lock tight. But nothing. What tools and method do I need bc I want to change the look. Thanks,Roger
My Wife's Royal Oak back from APSC!
I just received my wife's watch back from AP. They fixed the clasp and replaced the battery. The watch came back with the time set 5 minutes behind. Well, it is what it is. Here are some pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!
Look what I got in for a client (Snoopy hint)
Here is it.. Possibly THE last truly NOS with full stickers and never worn. I didn't realize the draw of the Snoopy watch until a request to get one was made. It really is an amazing watch.
My second 5167 in one week!
My newly purchased 5167 from last week developed a movement issue. Around 11:20pm-11:40pm, the movement would stop completely. Once I advance the time past 12:00am, it would run smoothly and accurately. Since it was still under PP warranty period, I contacted my seller, Thanh Do aka Takuya, for advice on the best method to obtain warranty work. To my surprise, I received a call and a text within the hour on a Sunday. Thanh was extremely apologetic and immediately offered three options to resolve the issue. Full refund, exchange for another 5167 or he will send it back to PP on my behalf. I was amazed by the level of service.Sure, just like any mechanical timepieces, it will eventually have issues. I didn't expect Thanh to step up and take ownership in resolving the warranty issue for me. This reinforced my decision to purchase with TRF dealers, especially with Thanh! Although I have a good working relationship with my local AD, I'm uncertain if they would have offered me a full
Incoming...first Rolex!
Hey TRF crew. Allow me to humor you all with the journey of how my first Rolex ended up on my wrist today. If you just want to see the pic, you're of course welcome to scroll down. Now I have to admit, unlike so many here who have always had a fascination or deep appreciation for watches, my desire to own a great timepiece is really something that bubbled up only the past few years. I can't recall the exact moment, but it was a combination of factors like wanting to have a meaningful and tangible heirloom to pass down to my (eventual) child that has been with me through the journey of life. On a more personal level, 2017 was an incredibly tough and challenging time. It was also the year I turned 35, and I wanted to get a watch that was tough, resilient and reliable; all attributes I strive to own in my personal and professional life. There's also the general functionality of a watch. Yes, a $50 digital timepiece gets the job done just the same, but heck, I earned this one! And when you
