Linde Werdelin Oktopus 1,111 Meter Dive Watch
Another new watch for Linde Werdelin in 2009 is the Oktopus. Building on the Biformeter watch case and theme, the Oktopus is a beefed up version of the models in the already sharp looking Linde Werdelin watch line. This is also the first dedicated diver's watch for the quickly growing brand �� featuring a rotating diver's bezel and integrated helium escape valve. There is also the little matter of the 1,111 meters of water resistance, that is over 3,300 feet! Almost a mile underwater �� at this point you are simply adding a wow factor to the watch. Even though you'll never go that deep, it does comment strongly on the secure construction of the watch, as well as the thickness of the metals and sapphire crystal used in its construction.The original Biformeter case profile was surprisingly thin. ROO SS 44 measurements?
HiI'm currently considering buying a 44mm SS ROO. (My first AP ) I don't live anywhere near an AD, but tried on the 44mm ROO in forged carbon 2-3 years ago whilst on holiday in Miami. Not remembering how it looked on my wrist (my wrist is 6.75 inches and fairly flat) I was wondering if someone could help me out with measurements in mm from the picture I've attached? This way at least I can compare it to my other watches - Rolex, B&R.

Colt GMT Strap Help
I have a Colt GMT in steel. i went to the AD here in Dubai to get a leather strap and was told that the strap will cost me around $ 135 however if i want to add the deployment buckle the cost will be around $ 300. does this make sense? i.e. is the buckle more expensive than the strap?? any idea how much will it cost if I get it online?Thanks for your help

The use of the stick markers
Hello everyone,Do you guys think that Rolex will introduce some of there classic dials this year at Basel world ? I can't help but notice almost all new dial designs are stick markers , new skydweller, 95 percent of the new DJ41 are only stick markers. I'm really hoping that they bring back the stainless steel DJ with Roman numerals or even Arabic numerals would look exquisite on the DJ41. I just don't wanna pull the triggger and then have them release a new fleet of dials , am I better off waiting until march ?Thanks
