Man Finds Original LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm At Phoenix Goodwill Store For $5.99, Sells It For $35,00
It's every watch collector's dream: to find a super-rare and valuable watch for sale for almost nothing at a thrift shop, estate/garage/car boot?sale or flea market. For Zach Norris, the dream became a reality recently when he walked into a Phoenix, Arizona?Goodwill store looking for a used push-pull golf cart only, to stop by and dig through the store's watch basket on his way out. Inside the basket filled with?Fossil watches with dead batteries (most priced around $15 according to Zach) was a watch,?face down, that caught his interest. The dial said "LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm." The price? $5.99. 2 OF 12 Zach knew the LeCoultre name and knew the watch was made by Jaeger-LeCoultre and probably was worth far more than the $5.99 price, but he didn't realize?it was a?vintage LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm from circa 1959 worth over $35,000. According to the price tag, the watch had been put out for sale the previous day, January 16, and although Zach had left empty-handed in terms
Dinner with my AP ROO

New Addition!
Hi guys, it's barely been two weeks since I acquired my first AP, the ROO black themes and now I've been bitten by the bug again. The past week or so I was going back and forth between the 15703 and 15400. The recent thread on the ROO Diver push it over the top and I pulled the trigger today. Hope you enjoy the pics and thanks for sharing in my excitement. BR, Phong. Sorry if I posted too many pics, guys.
Off to the spa
My beloved 15202 is due for service. She's not keeping time over night, so its time. I was hoping to take it to Vegas with me next week, but I guess the ROC will take her place.
Harrods L.E. Green Dial
So, I was called by a friend to come over to Harrods as there may be something interesting for me Panerai related, I was intrigued and in the market for a new Panerai so popped in.Once I was there I was told that a limited Edition piece from Panerai was being made available and I was one of the first few people to be offerred the chance to buy it. It was described as being a Luminor case steel model with a dark green dial and gold hands (Harrods colours), dark green strap and steel bracelet, and had a limitation of 100 pieces. I was quite excited as the only other green dial Panerai I knew of was the Bronzo, and only 1piece had been reserved so I had pick of any number from a choice of 99.However, when I saw the actual picture of the watch I was slightly disappointed as the dial was one of those dials that has all of the numerals on it (like a Pam359). Unfortunately I have never liked this style of dial, just a personal preference, so I passed on the purchase which could haunt me in y
