IN THE SHOP: Twelve New Vintage Watches For Sale, Including An Amazing Tudor 7032 With Box & Pap
It's that time of the week again, everyone! Yes, the HODINKEE Shop has been re-stocked with a dozen new vintage finds curated by the team here at HODINKEE. And as we said when we launched this initiative a few weeks back, what we've found for you are nothing if not honest, original examples of some truly special watches. Let's get into it. A 1940s Mono-Rattrapante Bovet Chronograph 1 OF 15 We'll start with one of the most fascinating watches of the lot – this Bovet Mono-Rattrapante. First of all, Bovet of the 1940s has very little, if anything, to do with the Bovet of today. Back then they were making elegant watches with classic designs and in the case of this wonderful Mono-Rattrapante, downright fascinating concepts. We all know what a rattrapante, or split-seconds, is, and all also know it is one of the holy grails of horology – a complication reserved for highest echelons of watchmaking, in particular back then! Question about the 15202 dial
Dear fellows,I recently fell in love with the 15202 But I have a question about the dial.1. On AP official pics, we see a space between the A and the P on the logo but on all the pictures of the reviews I read, there is no space (or at least, it is filled)... Official pic (source: AP):Review pic (source: timetapestry): 2. On the good review of timtapestry (timetapestry.blogspot.fr/2014...-audemars.html), several dials (named Mark X) are mentioned:So, the question is, if I buy one brand new today, which dial will I have? Thanks for your answers!

But with my Omega both Orange PO and Yellow Seamaster this happened I think! Its very hard to see I know but looked with very attention and you can see the scratches in the 50 position in the bezel and 30! I know the bezel its alluminium so scratch and all can be happens! look in the 50 in the bezel! So in my mind what could be happened?? I wash my watch and remove the bracelet, with Hot Wash, at night, so that night was raiining and the wind was a little cold 20oC(that night), so: January 6 was see the difference?? in the bezel 50 position? And Now 22 January 1- because this the bezel could be scratched?? or Spotted?2- never happens this with any of my watches! Please mates, help me, I am very, very worried about!!And to dry my Seamast
