Watches NEWS
299 pieces of Panerai Radiomir Oro Rosa 3 Days Watch
Unveiled in January at the SIHH 2011 event, the new Panerai Radiomir Oro Rosa 3 days 47 mm (PAM 379) Manual-Wind watch will be sold as a Special Edition with only 299 timepieces model to achieve the few lucky. Like many other historic "watches revealed this winter by Officine Panerai, the new timekeeper is equipped with a movement of the hand-wound made manufacturing."
PP5396 - any love?
I really like the PP5396R. Very classic dial, modern size and a very useful annual calendar complication. I think all these combined make it a perfect dress watch. However, watch guys I talk to generally dont seem to have much love for the piece and all the ADs seem to have a few pieces available all the time. Am I missing something? Why is this refernce (arguably) not as desirable?
Stunning Picture of the 5980-1R found on IG.
I love watch photography and takes a lot of pictures but even I can't take photos as nice as this. So just want to share a glorious picture of what I considered the Ultimate Nautilus on IG. All credits to the photographer : https://.instagram/p/_jFvLqJnLG/Cheers!
Any guide to what Calatrava references used what dials?
Is there anything out there that I could use to determine what dials were available on different Calatrava references. Really like the 5196 time only with small seconds and breguet numerals. I know a few other references also used that dial style but it seems that many of those references also used other dials as well.Any resources like this online for Calatrava references? I'm guessing some of the books you can buy may have this sort of info. This is the dial style I am referring to by the way, wondering what previous references of Calatrava used it (I know the 96 did but have seen others pop up with this dial as well)
New to Panerai
Hey guys,I have some Panerai questions and would like your help.I was wondering what is the most tool or sub/exp-like watch in the panerai lineup?Does panerai offer rubber straps on all watches?Does panerai have a brushed model instead of polished? What is the best (I know best is a relative term) Panerai for daily wear? How is Panerai service compared to Rolex? Thanks!
