A Week On The Wrist: The Rolex Yachtmaster 40mm With New Oysterflex Bracelet
There is big news, and there is Rolex big news, and in some ways, ne'er the twain shall meet. At Baselworld this year, Rolex debuted a first for the company: the very first, ever, Rolex delivered on a rubber strap. Now, for most companies this would have little effect on watch enthusiasts other than to evoke (very) tepid interest at best, and boredom at worst – but this is not an ordinary rubber strap, this is an official, designed-and-tested-and-thoroughly-obsessed-over-by-Rolex rubber strap. And thereby hangs a tale. 1 OF 7 The Yachtmaster, as we have mentioned in some of our previous coverage, occupies a somewhat particular place in Rolex’s lineup of sports watches; it shares water-resistance and a turning bezel with the Submariner (the latter is water resistant to 300 m while the Yachtmaster standard model is water resistant to 100 m). Need your advise
Thinking of taking my 5726/1A to local PP service centre for check-up before warranty expire in a few months. In case any fine-tuning is required, at least I can save a chunk of money now. Would you do this?Had the watch since 7/13 and worn it only a few times.Thx for your advise.Eddy
Patek accessories
Hi all, I would really like to have a Patek travel pouch/case for my 5712, since I got it double sealed but from a grey dealer I didn't get any goodies from Patek, I don't care about most of them but would really like that watch box for one or 2 watches, is it possible to buy it from them or am I completely nuts even thinking such a thing could be possible?I wouldn't want to go to Patek and ask this and them looking at me as if I was some kind of idiot so if someone could enlighten me about this it would be great. Thanks in advance
