Scammed on a Planet Ocean
Will address this in the bad guys sections as well, but thought those on the Omega forum should know. Me and at least 3 others (that we know of) have been scammed by Matt Z on Timezone for $1800 on a PO. He gets your $$, sends a package USPS with tracking to a wrong address, and then vanishes. We're working on the legal/criminal side of it at this point, but wanted all to be aware. I know what they say- always buy the seller.... but it still sucks to think you've done your homework and still get screwed.Bobps. here's my post from yesterday before I knew the bad news... Great watch! I'm jealous- I bought one 1 1/2 weeks ago from a forum member, only to have it delivered to the wrong city, so it was returned to sender (which makes me nervous, but I'm staying glass half full for the moment). Just was returned today per tracking, so hopefully it'll go back out to the CORRECT address this time and I'll have it by Tuesday- here's to fingers crossed!!!

Group Pictures and What's the next?
This was the first group picture of my collectionAfter 4 years trades and acquisitions, the group picture was taken again. As you can see I am a modern watch guy, collecting the watches from popular brands. I either buy used watches or good discounted new watches. I payed full price at the AD for the 5711 and 116520 though.To me, the collecting watches is not spending money, it is transforming the money to another format. The difference in the bank account is just one digit, for example x50,000 to x30,000, but the difference in your life and mind is totally different. I enjoy waring the watches everyday, touch them everyday, physical feel the quality they bring you. I can't feel such a happiness if I have one digit difference in the bank account. I really feel this way, how many of you have the same feeling?One more thing, what's your suggestion for my next target in this collection?(Similar post was post in the Rolex Forum, I apologize if you see duplicate. My thoughts on Rolex Supply Issues...
In macroeconomics in college, they teach about supply and demand.As a business, it is your duty to find what is called equilibrium so that your production and demand are such that there is not an over supply which will reduce market value and that you are able to supply enough to meet the market demand so that interest doesn't fade.If one had to choose the best side (lesser of two evils), it is better for a luxury brand to err on the side of reducing supply.You are also taught that if you build something (let's say watches), and those watches cost X amount and your operating costs are Y amount, then if you build one watch, you need to sell that watch for the production cost plus the operating costs plus build in a margin.
