Seiko Unveils Grand Seiko 55th Anniversary Spring Drive Chrono Limited Edition
Seiko released its first Grand Seiko wristwatch in 1960. This year, to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the Japanese brand’s most haute watch collection, Seiko has introduced a new, limited-edition Grand Seiko, equipped with its proprietary Spring Drive chronograph movement.Like many other timepieces on the market these days, the Grand Seiko 55th Anniversary Spring Drive Chronograph Limited Edition features a de rigeur deep blue dial (Seiko says it is the Grand Seiko line’s signature color), which provides an attractive contrast with the chronograph hands, which are gold toned. A center-mounted hand ticks off the stopwatch seconds, while two small subdials on the right side of the dial tally up the minutes (30) and hours (12).The dial also features a date window at 3 o’clock, a power reserve display at 7 o’clock, small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, and a central GMT hand. Hello everyone,i just picked this up the other day and no nothing about it. i think it looks nice, and am excited to hear your inputs about what it is. i know it uses the 617 movement. it is my new every day watch that i don't need to worry about scraping up!here are some pics:

Omega Museum Racend
Firstly , hello to all.New to the forum , although been reading quite a bit.Decided that it is time for a grown up watch.... I am looking at Rolex Submariner , like the new one that just came out 116610 ( Black dial , stainless steel )My wife is suggesting I get the Omega Museum Racend No 8 I think ( 1949 original style)I know its two different watches , dress vs sporty , so to compare would be useless , but are there any thoughts on the Omega in terms of usability , durability , practicality etcMy concerns : will the gold scratch more than the SS ; I believe it is manual wound which surprised me but if it is , is it practical ; I am not sure if the watch will not be an overkill in a normal office environment.Plus none of local jewelers have in stock , so no chance to see it unless I go to UK ( or get it shipped from UK after I buy it ).My wife has a new Omega Constellation , so it cant be that she is pushing me to get one , so she can have a new watch too :)Look forward to your though

I like the Omega PO watch very much ...however I personally do not like the winder on the left hand side .... I know what this is for but as I will not be using the watch for diving and as I do not like it, I wanted to ask if anyone knows if it is possiboe to get it removed (ideally by Omega) and the hole pluged ?any views ?thanks very much

Patek dial which watch does it fit?
I have this Patek dial made of gold (750)I can't seem to find which watch it fits. Anyone have any idea?
