Baume & Mercier Clifton Chronograph Watches For 2014
When a brand such as Baume & Mercier says they're digging into their archives for new watches, you can't be quite sure what you might see. As one of the seven oldest watch brands, they've got quite an assortment of inspiration to draw from. This latest batch of vintage-inspired pieces will expand the Clifton collection that we saw introduced earlier this year.Drawing from what's labeled as the "golden era" of the 1950s, these new automatic Clifton chronographs will be formally introduced at SIHH in January. Intrinsically, the three are mechanically the same - 43mm stainless steel case, ETA 7750 movement (decorated and visible through the case back), sapphire crystals, and a 50m WR rating, to mention some of the highlights. Where the three models differentiate themselves then, is in the styling. The Clifton 10129 (pictured up top) is marked as being the most vintage-looking of the collection, with gold tone hands and indices on a silver sunburst dial paired with a brown alligator str

arghhhhhhhhhhhhh
I have been owner of my grail RO 15300 now for just over 3 months. A few days after pick up i noticed a problem with date change and wanting everything perfect i decided to get it sent back to AP service to get sorted under warranty. Now before watch was sent off to service centre AD did the usual watch condition report which read AS NEW CONDITION no marks or dings anywhere which is no suprise as i prob had only worn watch on 5/6 occasions. A few days ago i received call from AD to say my watch was ready for me to collect. Report from AP says they had replaced a few parts and was now changing within tolerance . Well all seemed good until i put on my spectacles to inspect. Well what a disappointment firstly i noticed a mark on brushed part of bezel right next to one of the screw heads and also light marking around part of the polished edge of bezel and also on a couple of the screw heads i never took any pics of marks to bezel think i was in shock. Needless to say watch has now been r
Speedmaster - See through casebacks
Having read with interest, the enthusiasm members have for their Speedy Pros with official and after-market display case-backs, particularly the 3572.50s I would be most grateful for answers to a couple of questions.Does wearing a watch with a crystal caseback feel different to a SS caseback? For example is it slippery in humid weather? After your initial purchase, how long was it before you ceased undoing the bracelet and gazing in awe at the movement - days, weeks, months or years?Thank you for your time.
Is this watch real?
Anyone Good with Omegas can tell me if this watch is real? My Friend...err an acquaintance of mine is selling this watch, claims it is real but I am not to sure. The things that bother me is the little green ball on 8 (the ones that glow in the dark) fell off and now sits between 10 and 11....seems odd for a $5,000 watchAlso the watch is a Speedmaster but the Bracelet reads Seamaster ProfessionalThoughts?
