Enjoying watches is typically not a solo activity. Watch lovers like myself feel the need constantly discuss or mentions watches, much to the dismay of non-watch lovers. But when you meet a fellow horological enthusiast, the conversation quickly becomes lively as shared interests intermingle. In my time I have realized that certain types of people tend to like watches more than others. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but represents six professions that tend to attract a watch loving bunch. Thinking of Buying Steel 26400
Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting the AP 26400 in steel with a ceramic bezel. I would appreciate any thoughts on owning the watch/appropriate price to purchase a preowned one.Thanks!

I liked this one from the start and couldn't wait to get some wrist time. I got it yesterday, but I finally had a little time today for a post. I have it mounted on my B&S strap, but looking forward to trying it on a bracelet.

OK- so I've been on the hunt for a daily beater/wearer and this one seems to do nicely...I think it's a great workhorse of a watch. The fact that it's automatic makes me like it even more! 5712 moon phase changes at 10:00pm?
As many of you know, I recently bought a 5712A. I just noticed tonight that the moon phase actually changes around 10:00pm, rather than during the day. Is this true for all 5712s/240 movements?Interesting that the 324 movement definitely changes during mid-morning (approx. 11:00am) but the 240 changes in the evening. Has anyone else noticed this? For those that have, do you prefer it changing during the night, which technically isn't accurate for a few hours after the change (I think), or during the day?
