Hublot Limited Edition Classic Fusion Watches The Watch Gallery UK
UK watch retailer, The Watch Gallery has recently introduced its latest limited edition partnership, this time with Hublot. Following successful TWG limited edition pieces from brands like Zenith and Bremont, Hublot has produced two limited Classic Fusion models, a chronograph and an automatic three hander. Both models will feature the TWG signature blue on their seconds hands as well as the inclusion of blue tinted case back sapphire crystals. In addition to this distinctive use of color, this is also the first time that Hublot has produced 45mm Classic Fusion models in titanium with ceramic bezels. Both of the TWG and Hublot models measure 45mm across and feature satin-finished titanium cases, black ceramic bezels and anti-reflective sapphire crystals up front. Minute repeaters are arguably the most romantic of all complications and in this edition's roundup, we listen to the enchanting chimes of nine Patek Philippe repeaters. We also check out Ball's prototype annual calendar watch; learn about 10 technically important watches; visit Montblanc's Villeret?manufacture; and learn some tips about buying vintage Rolex watches.1. Ball Engineer II Annual Calendar Watch Hands-OnYou might know Ball as a brand that makes watches with Tritium gas tubes, but Tritium gas tubes aside, Ball has serious horological aspirations. This year at Baselworld, we had the chance to to try out their new annual calendar watch. The watch, still a prototype at this point, uses a base ETA movement but fitted with Ball's unique annual calendar module. The movement was housed in an Engineer II case and Ball said that it would be the most affordable annual calendar watch in the market when it is released. Personally, I think it looks rather handsome. I just wish they made t
RO 15400 Screwdown Crown
Hey everyone,Haven't worn my RO 15400 for a while so I took it out today for a spin.Noticed an odd/different alignment with the screw down crown. I'm not sure if I'm over analyzing or simply didn't tighten it fully in all my previous usage but has anyone had the same experience where the screw down position of the crown changed?PS: I do know the AP logo doesn't line up on the 15400. Nor is the crown typically flush.First image I took a few months ago which is the position I'm use to. Every time I adjust the time, wind the watch, etc. and then screw down the crown it ends up in this position. However, the full screw down position of the watch changed today in the second image. I've unscrewed and adjusted the crown several times and appears the full screw down position is in this new position.Thoughts? Everything seems to be running normally. Am I going crazy? HahahahaThe watch is two years old and shouldn't require a service.
Thoughts on this C Series?
Curious what people thought of this one. Look right? Thanks,Derek
