AP 15400 Warranty Question
HI all, I am considering purchasing a pre owned Royal Oak 15400, 2013 model. I have some questions about warranty and servicing and hoping some of you can assist.Firstly is the AP warranty transferrable like a Rolex warranty, ie even if my name is not on the paperwork can I still send in for work? Secondly, if the answer is yes, I have gleaned from these forums that if the first 3 year service is done under the warranty period, the first service is free and then the warranty is extended for 2 more years? Is this the case? If so I would assume if I bought the 2013 model, I could send for servicing in 2016 and have it all covered? Finally what has been your experience with service in regards to timing and cost? I would wear this watch in a rotation and it would not see anything heavy so I am talking about a standard 3 or five year service. I appreciate this watch will have steep service costs and I am prepared to pay it, just curious of what it would be.Thanks all for your input, thi

Omega NATO - is anything else even close???
Does anyone make a NATO that approximates the quality of the Omega NATO? I'm new to NATOs, and have been wearing my Speedmaster Pro on the OEM NATO for the past couple of months, and find it fantastic. I recently ordered some very highly regarded straps from an online retailer that specializes in NATOs, and I found two issues. One - the quality of the material was not as desired/expected, and two - with the watch head centered, the buckle is not even close to being centered under my wrist. It was literally on the very edge of my wrist. Any recommendations???Also, does anyone know who makes Omega's straps? Thanks,Steve

Setting the trends
Hi,I'm a brand new (currently) non-Rolex owner, but looking to buy my first and only one ! I'm considering the sub c or the Explorer I (I really want an Explorer I with a date but that's an impossible dream) and have been lurking on here for a few weeks, reading and re reading posts about old subs v sub c and the evolution of the different models. It strikes me that there is as much love for the new' sub as there is preference for the older one with the smaller look.In my opinion, watches have increased in size over the last xx number of years, and I guess my question is ....Has this been driven by Rolex, or are they simply following the trends ?It seems that in the early days Rolex were setting the standards of build quality, innovation and style/trend. While I understand there has been some major internal upgrades with the new sub c, have they jumped on the bandwagon of bigger watches and do Rolex still influence trends like they did in the past, or are they now a more reactive rath
