Rolex owners that have a Breitling in your collection?
Just wondering if anyone has a Breitling in their collection? I randomly stopped by the Breitling AD yesterday and found the Superocean to be a beautiful watch for a very good price. I looked on the Breitling forum but it doesn't have a lot of activity. I like the 42 and 44. Their resale value is not good from what I can tell. Just curious to what ownership is like. Here is the model I would buy:image.jpg

Omega speedmaster broad arrow advice
Hi everyone I'm looking for some guidance and hoping that you can help. I have always been a rolex man, I started with a datejust and have recently acquired a new GMT IIc which is awesome. I'm really attracted to the history that is associated with these iconic time pieces and like the thought of owning a piece of history and appreciate the precision engineering that goes Into to making these watches. My long term goal is to collect an example of each of the iconic watch styles. I've decided that it's a chronograph that is next on my list of acquisitions. I naturally turned to look at Daytona's but have not really found them very appealing and the lack of a date display has pretty much ruled this out as a choice. I have therefore turned to Omega which also has it's fair share of iconic pieces and been surprising impressed.I really like the speedmaster but particularly the broad arrow variants and wanted some info, thoughts, advice and possible pictures about the watch around, ? though
Second watch the hardest?
Well here’s the problem. Bought an Explorer over a year ago and love it. When I tried it on for the first time I knew straight away that I wanted it. Now I’m looking for my second watch and it’s oroving difficult!Been all over the place. Thought about saving for a Patek 5196 but decided it probably wouldn’t stand up to daily wear. Currently tossing up between a Datejust 126334 (Fluted, Jubilee, silver dial) and a Sub 114060. I tend towards the more formal so like the size of the DJ but it does wear similarly to my Explorer. The Sub feels HUGE, but maybe I’m just used to a 39mm watch?Everyone has something different they’re looking at in a watch. For me I love that a Rolex will last forever. Probably the main thing I think of is being able to pass a watch down to my newborn twin boys. So, any thoughts on these two?Cheersps. Sorry about the small photos, can’t figure out how to post full size images
