Hublot Limited Edition Supports Medical Research
Hublot has teamed with the oldest automobile club in the world – the Automobile Club de France (ACF) – to create a limited edition timepiece to benefit the Fondation ICM (Institute for Cerebral and Medullary Disorders). This is the first partnership with a major brand for the ACF, which was founded in 1895. One of the founding members of the Fondation ICM is Jean Todt – a name well known to auto racing enthusiasts. Mr. Todt is the president of the FIA (F��d��ration Internationale de l'Automobile) – the governing body for Formula 1. The FIA is headquartered at the Automobile Club de France. Together, Hublot and the ACF developed the Aero Bang Drive ACF, a black chronograph with the ACF’s colors. A black ceramic case and bezel surround a skeleton dial, through which one can glimpse the movement beneath. Omega Military Purchase Program
Following the latest shuttle mission I see all these X-33s on astronauts wrists (and a Speedmaster on a space walk). I guess the X-33 did not sell, but it is still provided to NASA personal and to the military. Under the Military Purchase Program pilots must buy their own watches, but at substantial discounts (+70%) and must order in quanities of at least 10. If they order 15 or more they can have their squadron and call-sign engraved on the back. You have to be an active member of the military to qualify.Apparenty Omega also provide the Special Boat Service (U.K. Navy Seals) with the Bond (blue) GMT and and the SAS with Planet Oceans but only Omega knows if this is correct and they are not saying.It would be nice to see the X-33, or a replacement sold to the pubic again.

Rolex Datejust II
Hi guys.I recently bought a Rolex Datejust II off the market. I have had a few Rolexes in the past and am pretty sure its a genuine model. I just have one doubt, the number on the machine inside is marked #3156.As per my knowledge #3156 is for the Day Datejust II models. And #3136 should be for the Datejust II.Can anyone please tell me if this is true, or did they make some exception and made Datejust II with the #3156 machine.Thank you for the help guys.Cheers.
