Lunch With My AP
Lunch today at my favourite sashimi restaurant.
Very interested in this but need some expert advice!
Hi AllI recently just bought a Bi-Metal GMT which I love but have come across a very good deal for my dream watch and need advice on it before i do anything rash. I am looking at the 5712R Nautilus and have attached pics for your review of the actual watch in question but i am a little nervous so please advise. The watch is preowned in excellent condition according to the seller but I dont know what to look out for in terms of major issues, fakes, bad model (I heard the genva stamp is now changed - does this matter etc). Please advise me as this will be my biggest and probably last watch purchase if my wife has anything to do with it!!!

I would like to Eventually get into the trade of buying / selling rolex's, building a good name for myself whilst I do so. My brother is a horologist and the passion for timepieces runs through our genes. So Hi everyone and nice to meet you all :)Here is my question.I have 10,000 to spend on my next rolex purchase, not significant to most of you but its enough to me. With that being said I want to make sure I do the right thing. All of your opinions are crucial to me so please don't hold back. I am looking at either a 1998 Daytona bi metal 116523, or a classic day-date president. The president also has a factory champagne & diamond dial with an aftermarket diamond bezel (I know about aftermarket :-( ). There is just one problem with the president... the serial number is slightly worn and I can't quite make out if the first di
