The newest James Bond movie, called Spectre, will hit theaters on November 6th of this year and, as we all have expected and anticipated, Omega has unveiled its latest official 007 watch, the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra James Bond Limited Edition, to coincide with the film’s release. In this article from my blog, Watch-Insider, I reveal more about the new timepiece.The dial of this new Omega Seamaster watch is inspired by the coat of arms of the Bond family, and Omega says that the watch itself will be limited to the odd number of 15,007 pieces. The brand didn’t arrive at this number by coincidence, however: the movement used in the modern versions of the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra, of which this watch is one, resists magnetic fields greater than 15,000 Gauss. This watch is awesome. It's amazing that I haven't stumbled on it before now. What a treat. Sporty, classic, 150 meters, screw down crown, PCLs, slim profile, sized perfect, great symmetry, and the day and date. Wtf?!?!??!This is a real treat.

Missing my Sub more than I thought I would
A few weeks ago I picked up a 14060M Z-serial. It's a beautiful watch and I couldn't be happier, but it was running about +15 secs/day and had a couple of scratches on the bezel and crystal, so I wanted to get it serviced and repaired as needed. RSC said they had no record of it being serviced and there weren't any indications inside the case that it had been worked on before. It's a 10-year old watch, so it's probably time.Yesterday I dropped it off at RSC Dallas and less than 24 hours later I'm missing it on my wrist more than I thought I would. I'm currently wearing a Stowa Antea Klassik KS, which is a fine watch, but it's no 5-digit Sub, that's for sure :)No real point to this post, other than crying to you fine gents since my wife won't want to listen to me talk about how I miss a watch
