Breitling Rolls Out New Bentleys
It's been a big year for Breitling, which introduced a slew of new products at this year's Baselworld watch fair in March. The brand’s family of Breitling for Bentley watches, elegant sporting timepieces developed in cooperation with Bentley, the prestigious British automobile marque, was no exception. This year sees the debut of two new models: a more compact version of the Barnato and a new limited edition, the GMT V8.The Breitling for Bentley Barnato 42 is the newest iteration of the watch created as a tribute to the so-called “Bentley Boys,” the 1920s British motorists who helped establish Bentley’s reputation for high-performance sports cars. It has a 42-mm-diameter stainless steel case that is water-resistant to 100 meters. It features red-rimmed chronograph subdials, a screw-locked crown, and the model’s characteristic knurled bezel, which echoes the look of the control buttons on a Bentley dashboard. Breitling Cockpit B50 Watch With Exclusive New SuperQuartz Movement
In-house quartz watch movements at Breitling? Pretty much, "yes," with the new Breitling Cockpit B50 timepiece in their Professional collection of watches. OK, so let's start by talking about the whole "in-house quartz" part of the conversation, as it is perhaps the most interesting, outside of the design of the watch. For years, Breitling has been sourcing high-end thermocompensated quartz movements from Swiss ETA. These come in a few varieties, but are contained in all the quartz movement-based Breitling watches, from their totally analog dials (three-handers and chronographs) to their various ana-digi (analog-digital) watches that have both traditional hands as well as two LCD screens. Breitling now pushes forward to create their own evolved movements based on the foundation that ETA laid.None of this means that Breilting is going to stop using ETA thermocompensated quartz movements in some of their watches (such as the famed Aerospace), but rather that they are adding a new flavor

My Aqua Terra on a strap
Hey guys, just wanted to get your thoughts. I have an Omega Aqua Terra that I got as one of my wedding presents a couple years ago. I wore it quite a bit before I bought my Rolex but now it doesn't get much wrist time. As I have 4 watches and 3 of them are on a metal bracelet, I decided to pick up a strap for the Omega. Due to a lost shipment, I bought a second different strap. Well I have finally received the lost shipment (and reimbursed the seller for the strap).
