Making the Tissot Sea Touch Video: Tissot Has Never Looked So Bad Ass
We often think of watchmaking as a quaint, old world, manual operation - wizened men hunched over a desk, loupe planted firmly in the eye, carving out steel components with 19th century tools. While there still are watch manufactures that preserve the old ways of doing things, even the storied companies like Patek and Lange fully embrace the latest technology for parts of the process where it makes sense. Similarly, even mass produced pieces require some manual steps and the steady hands of trained watchmakers to assemble.Take, for example, the Tissot Sea Touch. The Sea Touch is a quartz ana-digi multifunctional dive watch from the Swatch Group's entry level marque. Though it's a thoroughly modern underwater tool, with electronic compass, depth gauge and dive log functions, as the following video shows, there are still some human processes involved in its manufacture. Received my first AP in the mail today

PAM 104 Advice
Hello,I'm new to the forum and have enjoyed reading many of the posts. I have a friend who over to sell me his PAM 104. I believe its a 2007 model. As you can see in the picture the crown guard is missing and I would like to have it replaced with an original one. He is willing to sell the PAM 104 with the rubber band and deployment buckle for $2,500. I was thinking that a new replacement crown guard and service would run me another $1000-$1500. IS that an accurate guess. Does anybody know what an OEM crown guard costs? All I have been able to find are replicas on eBay. Thanks in advance for your help.
Will the new GMT 3285 movement update across the line?
I'm assuming yes, and the website just hasn't been updated, but you never know with Rolex.Any past history that might indicate the movement will be updated across the GMT range this year?
Looking for an AD to source a Pelagos link
Hello TRF:I bought a Pelagos from a member here and need one more link for the bracelet to fit comfortably. Are there any ADs that will sell me just one link that you would recommend? Happy to call and give them whatever requisite info they want. My local ones here are being a bit difficult and a lot of hoops to source one link.Thanks.
