SIHH: JeanRichard Shows Two New Bressels and the Highlands Sand Sports Watch
At SIHH JeanRichard is introducing three new men’s models: the Bressel Homage “Daniel” is inspired by a Daniel JeanRichard pocket watch created in 1710. The Bressel 1665 Small Hour and Minute offers a distinctive time display, and the sporty Highlands “Sand” reinterprets the original Highlands from the mid-1990s. All three are powered by in-house JeanRichard movements. The Bressel Homage “Daniel” is dedicated to Daniel JeanRichard, the pioneer and “father” of watchmaking in the Neuchatel Mountains, and is a celebration of one of his greatest creations, to date the only known silver pocket watch of its time – one created in 1710. The new model has an understated look. The pink gold case measures a classic 38mm in diameter. It houses a curved, white lacquered dial, echoing the enamel used on the pocket watch. The Roman numerals are painted in black and the leaf-shaped hands are blued. The date display is offset in red.Behind the
Breitling Emergency Model 2
This was brought up in a previous thread but I was wondering if anyone has this model? Or experience with it? I saw it in the AD the other day and was impressed, not by the size (which IS impressive) but the capability. Since it is now dual frequency, 406 and 121, basically anywhere in the world you activate the feature it will be picked up by satellites and quite possibly save your life. I do a lot of hiking deep in the mountains and always carry a satelite PLB with me for a life-threatening emergency, but there is nothing as convenient or as ready as having one on your wrist. I don't own a Breitling, and it is big and expensive, but if I were an Alaskan bush pilot, or forrest ranger, or anyone that spent a great deal of time in the wilderness far from help I would definitely get one of these. IMHO, Way to go Breitling!

Rolex Submariner Increased Prices on Forums
Hi guys,It's been a long time since I've posted anything on here ever since I purchased my first rolex, sub-C 116610.I see that submariner prices have increased quite a bit on these forums.I remember when I bought my first rolex, you were able to find a decent, like new submariner for $7,000 -/+ last year. The last few weeks, I see that prices for a used sub-c has increased to mid to high $7K range, and I've seen new ones go for $9,000 -/+ lately. What's going on with the pricing on these forums? AD's still have them selling at $8600 (retail)Any idea on why forums prices have increased on these submariners?
