Chronoswiss Adds Six U.S. Retail Partners
German watchmaker Chronoswiss has added six new authorized retail partners in the U.S. market. The retailers are Hamilton Jewelers in Princeton, NJ, David Orgell in Beverly Hills, Feldmar in Los Angeles, ABT Time Boutique in Chicago, Mayfair Jewelers in East Hampton, NY, and Martin Pulli in Philadelphia. All of the new retailers will carry both mens and ladies timepieces, ranging from the classically styled Chronoswiss Lunar Chronograph and Kairos Lady to some of the newest timepieces that debuted at this year's Baselworld such as the Timemaster Chronograph Nighthawk and the black perpetual calendar. The new Sauterelle with the manufacture dead beat second movement, pictured below, is also expected to hit retail this Fall.Chronoswiss is a German watch manufacturer based in Munich. The company was founded by Gerd R. Lang in 1983 and produces about 6,000 watches per year. Each Chronoswiss wristwatch component is produced in Switzerland and then hand-finished in Germany.
Question about crown on Diver
So I noticed today that the rubber insert on the crown is a hexagon. If at the right angle, the top and bottom (if you look at the case from the side) of the hexagon can clear the crown protectors perfectly. If you turn the crown 45 degree more, then the pointy parts of the hexagon are kind of squeezed by the crown protector (even though I see that they added some clearance for this). Do you guys turn the crown until it is flat on both sides of the crown protector or let the pointy part of the rubber insert squeeze against the crown protector?
Trade a Rolex No DateSsub for a ladies 38mm Speedmaster
Hello, I am considering purchasing a Omega Ladies 38mm speedmaster and selling my Rolex No Date Sub. The reason I would purchase the ladies 38mm speedmaster is that although I am a male I have a very small wrist under 6.5 inches. The Ladies speedmaster fits perfectly, actually it fits better than my sub. My question is would any of you sell the sub to purchase the speedmaster? I don't think I need two sport style watches. Any suggestions would be appreciated. By the way, I am considering the Ladies 38mm speedmaster with the steel bracelet black bezel and gray dial. Thank you in advance for your opinons.
Rolex GMT Master II BLNR - Small Wrists?
Hi Rolex forum members!I am of skinny build and have quite small wrists (14.5cm or 5.75 inches). I am also a huge fan of the GMT Master II BLNR, but am unsure about whether the watch's bracelet will wrap firmly around my small wrist. I have been unable to fully test this out at my local Rolex AD as all the watches on display always have a majority of the links in-tact.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Gmt II BLRO under a black light
Hi everyoneI have read posts about how the red ceramic bezel starts off as blue then undergoes a temperature treatment to turn red etc. a few weeks back I was dragged to a kids birthday party - take a look at what the bezel looks like under a UV / black light. Very strange, and cool. Check out the before and after - apologies if the pic posting fails and first go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
