Jaeger-LeCoultre Navy SEALs Watches Featured in “Act of Valor”
Act of Valor, the new action film by Relativity Media opens February 24 in theaters and stars active-duty Navy SEALs, along with actors Roselyn Sanchez, Alex Veadov, Jason Cottle and Nester Serrano. Watch lovers will also note that the real-life SEALs whose exploits are featured in the movie are wearing Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Master Compressor Diving Automatic Navy SEALs watch.Developed under a trademark agreement with the U.S. Navy, the model is engineered to withstand extremely harsh conditions and features on its dial a new form of Super-LumiNova that is particularly visible underwater or in the dark. The timepieces also contain an in-house Jaeger-LeCoultre automatic movement intended to provide a high degree of accuracy.Produced and directed by former Baja 1000 champion Mike Mouse McCoy and former stuntman Scott Waugh, and written by Kurt Johnstad (300), Act of Valor tells a story about a mission to recover a kidnapped CIA operative, which unexpectedly results in the disc
The Bremont Wright Flyer
A piece of history being made and every watch a piece of history. There's not much middle ground with Bremont. It's either Bremont? I've got three already!' or Bremont? I'd rather wear a Casio." This is a good thing. When a watchmaker polarises opinion, it generally means they're doing something new, interesting and different. And that's just what Bremont have done. They've created a new English watchmaking business from scratch. Starting in 2002, it's grown in the twelve subsequent years from a tiny operation to a significant brand.Make a success of something and you'll attract your share of detractors and, historically, the watchbuying public have been split on Bremont. One side has talked about the quality of the watches, the warmth of the team (Bremont's always been a hands-on business), and attention to detail. The other has accused them of being contrived, too focused on image and too dependent on branding. And there's always been that accusation' of using bauche movements, de

Tell me about this Patek...
I found this glorious little gem locally and am curious if any of you gents (or ladies) could help me with it, I think it;s a Gondolo of some sort. It seems to be a good price based on what I see other Patek watches selling for but I don't know much about it other than it's in white gold and in pretty great, but obviously worn condition. Can anyone tell me a reference number and a fair price? Thanks,E.Here's a pic...
Dial options for Yellow Gold Daytona on Oysterflex?
The Rolex website only shows one option for YG Daytonas on Oysterflex:But I swear I've seen at least two other variants on the forum: one all black dial, and another black with yellow subdials (panda style). Do those exist? Did owners just happen to stumble upon those dial options at an AD, or were they custom orders? It's frustrating that Rolex don't show all options on the site, especially as seeing a Daytona at an AD is a near-impossibility these days.
