Six Professionals That Tend To Be Watch Lovers

But when you meet a fellow horological enthusiast, the conversation quickly becomes lively as shared interests intermingle. In my time I have realized that certain types of people tend to like watches more than others. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but represents six professions that tend to attract a watch loving bunch. Though it could also easily be suggested that entrance into the profession itself engenders a new appreciation that all the while lay dormant.LawyersMyself being in this group I felt it prudent to mention first. Nautilus 5711 questions
Hi guys! I am seeking for assistance please. I was offered a 2007 Patek Nautilus 5711 blue dial. Condition is unworn and it has not been serviced. Questions: 1) does it need a service? 2) has the retail price gone up? current list from 2012 is $26700.00? 3) would you get this piece or wait for a new one? If you choose this piece what sort of amount would you offer? Any help would greatly be appreciated.
GMT Master II oyster bracelet help
Hi to all, Been searching but can't get a definitive answer. My oyster bracelet for my K series 16710 with lug holes and SEL is a perfect fit on my wrist. Even had a permanent link removed to get it just right. Now I'm wondering whether it can be used on my 116710LN. The perfect fit plus the brushed links are pushing me towards it esp as it not being used for now cos I just got a jubilee bracelet to use on my 16710. And if it's possible then what tool is the best to use for the 116710 bracelet removal. Thanks in advance!
hands getting stuck...
Hi folks,My 1946 Oyster Air King was recently rebuilt and ran great! (Thanks Tommy)A few months later, the innards were loose (likely suffered some vibration in transit back to me). A local shop tightened everything and tuned it up and it was good again. Now (6 months later), the second hand (in sub-second dial) is catching on the hour hand at about 6:40. I recorded a video, but can't post a link as I have not posted enough times in the forums...I am starting to think that I am not supposed to wear this thing daily...Do you wear your vintage Rolex daily?Thoughts?
