15400 in the UK (advice)
Never owned an AP did toy with the idea of a ceramic diver but that meant moving on all of my Rolex collection which I wasn't and still not willing to do.But of late I have really started to admire the 15400With little knowledge of these and being in the UK what's sort of price should I be looking at and would it be AD or grey (prefer to buy new or LNIB) Dial wise I'm looking at the black dial. For some back ground, collection evolution is going in the route of selling my custom 114060, keeping my 116600 and then adding a white 116500 and looking to add this 15400Any help or advice most welcome
Out with the old and .....
In with the new. Well after 7 yrs of ownership I have let my faithful, trusty old RC go. This is the watch that got me into AP and I thought it would be a keeper. However times change & things move on. I have been having a bit of a shake up with my small collection over the last ten months mainly trying to thin out a few pieces which I haven't worn in a while and add a few newer higher end pieces. I grasped the opportunity without hesitation and moved out a few pieces including my RC to add this beauty to my wrist. First wrist shot driving home The finish on the ceramic is amazing, the orange accents work extremely well IMO, the weight on the wrist seems perfect and having the display back is an added bonus. This thing is awesome! I think this watch is going to get a lot of wrist time, it's

Just wondered what deals are available out there ?My brothers been talking about an smp for a whileI see most of the AD's up here are advertising for same price at between 6 - 18 months 0%Is 10% or 20% discount achievable from your experience ?Whats the story with the Ernst & Jones discount if a share holder ?I also know someone who travels a lot ? Whats the discount from say Heathrow duty free against the high street ?
Patek First Timer
Question to those who eventually made their way to PP, I have been wanting to sell one of my Day Date for a 5205R-001; those who traded a watch for a Patek, did you find that it was worth it? I know Patek is the crown jewel of watches, but did you feel that taking a small hit on a trade plus spending extra $$$ was worth it?
