I think every hardcore watch nerd dreams of owning a piece hand-crafted by Seiko's Micro Artist Studio in Shiojiri, located in Japan's central Nagano region. The Micro Artist Studio is a tiny subset of the Seiko manufacture that is the absolute elite unit, responsible for hand-crafting not only the incredible Eichi II, but also the Credor Minute Repeater and Sonnerie. Today, for the first time, we saw a Grand Seiko that was given the Micro Artist treatment, and it did not disappoint. 1 OF 3 First, one must understand that the craftsman in the Micro Artist Studio are top, top tier. They are the group that visits no one short of Mr. Philippe Dufour with some regularity, and the group that Mr. Dufour to this day holds in extremely high regard. This is true high-end finishing of the highest order, an until now, this has been reserved for Credor product. Need some help picking an AP...
Hello friends,I'm in the market for my first AP and would love some direction from all you AP experts.I've always loved the look of the RO but after browsing online pics for the last several months, I pretty much sold myself completely on the ROO. Well today I went into an AD for the first time to try on a few different options. That's where plot thickened�� and the decision got much harder. First of all, the RO 15400 (with black dial) was much nicer in person than I was expecting! An absolutely beautiful watch. And it fit my wrist wonderfully. This was the steel model with bracelet that I was admiring.Then I tried on a few different ROO's. The red and black version spoke to me along with the safari model. So now I'm torn on what to do and I'd love some help from you guys. And for the record, I can only afford one at the moment so buying one of each is completely out of the picture. Soooo�� what route do you all suggest I go? - RO 15400 with Black Dial?- ROO Black and Red?- ROO Safari?I
Does anyone else have a problem with used leather straps?
I'm in the process of maybe picking up a watch with several used leather straps included and I am, once again, thinking that I'll probably never wear the used straps.Unless it's a rubber strap, there's something reallyreally disturbing about putting on someone else's leather strap. It's almost like putting on someone's old leather loafer...

Hi Guys,I've just got back my 5960P Blue dial back from service. It's a Watch i really like, but i tried the Datograph up/down on a few weeks ago. I also like the design, and the movement is one of the best.Which would you prefer, and why?
