Watches NEWS
BEST FROM: watches-dealer & Friends April 12th
Round-Up By Kenny YeoWelcome to the very first edition of watches-dealer's twice a month round up special. Two times a month, I round up the best watch articles and reviews from watches-dealer and from around the internet for your reading pleasure. Here are my picks for the first half of April.1.? Bell & Ross Aviation Instrument Watches 2013For the past couple of years, Bell & Ross has released a couple of aviation-themed watches based on their signature BR01 case, and this year is no different. 2013 will see three new aviation-themed watches. The three new watches are named Airspeed, Heading Indicator and Climb, and their names are a good indication of which cockpit dial provided the inspiration for the design. Powering these watches are ETA movements.Although these watches are not the first word in legibility - especially the Heading Indicator - they stay true to Bell & Ross' older aviation-themed watches such as last year's Altimeter and the older Radar. Problem with ROO 44mm novelty
So I noticed the crown was rough to turn during wind up after about 5 revolutions. The watch had sat for about a week and was this fully unwound. I stopped and hoped the watch would continue winding itself automatically on my wrist tonight, which It did. Just got home and decided to try again and found it was still rough. Not only that, but it won't change the date anymore. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Seamaster 2255.80
Can anyone tell me if omega makes a blue bezel insert to fit a 2255.80?
5167A or 5167/1A
Hey guys,Looking for a bit of advice. I finally got permanent residence in Sweden having moved here from Australia and am looking to celebrate with a Patek. I was actually looking at doing it with a Rolex but every AD that I have even the smallest relationship to is rejecting putting anyone into a list. So I thought if I am going to wait, may as well be for a Patek! Now I walked into my AD here and found out that they could do a 1 year wait on the 5167/1A vs a 2 or 3 year wait on a 5167A. They also said they can add the rubber strap with the 1A but if you get the A you can't get a bracelet for that. Weird but okay. They require a 20% deposit which is fine but what do you guys think? Also I assume no discount is on the cards at all hahaI'm thinking a 1 year wait for the 1A is the way to go.
