Thoughts
I am looking for a nice vintage Omega and like this one. Any thoughts?.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stunning-v...:X:RTQ:GB:1123
My newest addition to my collection.
After finally buying my Rolex Sub C, I always envied the Omega Seamaster, so today I finally picked up a 2003 Full Size Automatic Seamaster Professional in blue and I love it.What a choice I have to make on which to wear haha....
Aqua Terra Golf: My Next Omega Grail
I was browsing the Omega website today and stumbled upon what appears to be the watch of my (near-term) dreams: Aqua Terra Golf.I've always liked the design of the Aqua Terra, but the 39mm case didn't really appeal to me. I'm probably quite behind the times, but 41.5mm Aqua Terra + green accents is a winner in my eyes. Well then again, green is just my favorite color. (Thus I think the Sub LV is beautiful too.)Just have to save up and hope one pops up on the secondary market eventually!Anyone know of other watches with relatively normal (black/white) faces with green accents?
P.O. 2500 v P.O. 8500
I'm currently considering buying a Planet Ocean. In the UK the retail price for the 2500 is currently ?2800. The retail price for the 8500 is ?3800.While I generally prefer the look of the 8500 I'm just not entirely convinced (yet) on the more grey like colour of the ceramic bezel on the 8500.I'm assuming I would get little or no discount on the 8500 but would be confident I'd able to to negotiate something off the 2500, so the price difference between the two models could be in excess of ?1000.Does anyone have any experience of both models? Is the new model really worth the extra ??Also, having never owned an Omega before I would not be used to a bracelet that does not have a micro adjustment. I appreciate the PO has a half link for sizing but I'm assuming it does not give the same degree of adjustment as a Rolex clasp for example. How easy is it to get a comfortable fit with the PO bracelet?
Non-Rolex. Vintage Omega (sorry!)
I know, I know this is a Rolex forum, but what do you chaps make of this? I just found it and have been looking for it for ages! It was bought in the 1980s, this is all I know. It was my dad's. The strap isn't original as the original has broken (I'll just have to find it ). I think it's a beauty! Any other info at all would be greatly appreciated!
