I just did it...and really think it looks better like this...
The new X33, why so little interest?
I just bought an X33 Solar Impulse, and there seems to be very little buzz about this watch on the various Omega forums. I realize the high-end Quartz is a niche market, but with the Omega NASA history I would have thought a new moon watch would get more attention. When I moved to Houston one of the first places I visited was NASA, and that was right when the original X33 came out, and there was a huge X33 on display, and it really stuck with me. I'm happy to see that they've moved forward with that series.
Clear back on Omega watch original?
Does Omega offer a clear back as an original on a new watch? My wrist really wants to see the movement...
How best to shop for a pre-owned 5127J?
I'm shopping for a pre-owned 5127J, and I'm looking for thoughts on where to shop and who I can trust.I've found online listings on Chrono24 and other high profile sites, but I don't have a high level of comfort with some of the sellers. I don't know if I can trust the descriptions, etc.--and I don't want to play buy-it-return-it games. I've also kept an eye out in the For Sale section on this site.I'm in the mid-Atlantic on the east coast, so I think there'd be options to find a good seller/dealer and conduct the sale face-to-face, but I don't know where to start. I did see one listed with Tarrytown Jewelers in New York. Are they reputable?Any suggestions on how else I can expand my search?Thank you.Cheers,LS
