In 1795, Breguet conceived the Breget overcoil spring, today still the reference in terms of balance springs. In 2006, Breguet introduced its first wristwatches with silicon balance spring and escapement. Today, the new Breguet silicon balance spring is featured in the Breguet Tradition 7047 model with tourbillon and fusee-and-chain transmission. Inspired by the design of the first tourbillon-equipped pocket watches devised by Breguet, a platinum version is now available fitted with a movement fashioned in an anthracite-toned metal alloy. The fusee-and-chain transmission connected to the barrel ensures constant force for as long as the watch is running. A number of patents applications involve the large tourbillon resonator at one o'clock on the watch face, one for a titanium balance and three relating to Breguet silicon balance springs. Ladies oak problems
In looking to move up in the world from my rolex sea dweller and date just I took the plunge and bought myself a 41 ROC. I have to say it was my best ever purchase and I am loving the AP.With the above in mind I wanted to upgrade the wife's diamond set MOP with diamond bezel to a ladies oak - a big ask as she loves the latter...A nice surprise under the tree she got the new one on Xmas day, we both took bad with the fact the crown did not tighten (still seems strange) but she wore the watch and loved it.Over the last few days we have since noticed the watch keeps terrible time, adding 9 sec over 1 minute and she has reverted back to the Rolex. I need to go to the AD and get it checked out but AP don't have a service centre in KL and god knows how long it will take. A bad 1st experience for her, I hope it's the last.....

Repair shop in Hong Kong
Can anybody recommend a reputable repair shop in Hong Kong? I just got a black bezel to replace the orange on my Planet Ocean, and I'm looking for somebody to do the installation. I've tried a bunch of shops in Tsim Sha Tsui, but nobody would touch it. And I understand that the Omega service center doesn't allow this type of swapping either.
