A couple of threads lately on this and I'm curious what a cumulative poll would like. Just based on your style preference if the two were priced the same.
Day Date Owners... No lume dial is an issue?
Unless I am wrong, (which happens a lot) the DD40 has no lume on it's dial(?). I guess because the indicies are made of gold. I often check the time in the middle of the night on my DJ41. My grail is a white gold DD (white face) but does the lack of lume and the ability to read the time in the darkness bother any of you owners? I am wondering if it were possible for Rolex to somehow place a lume on the hands and dial to make it night-readable? If I'm wrong, by all means call me a Dorklehead, but I feel I would really miss the lume function, do any of you DD owners agree?
