Elegant Accessories: TAG Heuer Racer Smartphone
TAG Heuer has built its reputation as a watch brand largely on its close association with auto racing. Now, as the 150-year-old Swiss company continues its growth from watchmaker into lifestyle brand, it introduces the Racer, which it calls the first Swiss luxury touch-screen smartphone made entirely from materials used in auto racing and aviation. The TAG Heuer Racer joins the brand’s existing Link and Meridiist along with Ulysse Nardin’s Chairman in the small but growing niche of Swiss-watch-branded luxury smartphones. The materials used in the Racer among them grade 2 titanium, carbon fiber, black PVD, 316L stainless steel, and rubber were all first used in professional motorsports and aeronautics. The design of the device takes its cues from high-end GT racecars. Designed in Switzerland and built in France, it is powered by the Android operating system, and has a customized 3D interface. The core model in the line is the Full Carbon Orange, with a front face? in fu

Braclet Links
Hi guys. At the risk of committing a breach of etiquette, I have a question about the braclet on my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. I have 6 links on the six o clock side and 8 on the 12 o clock side. It originally came with an extra half link on the six o clock side but I had it removed. My question is should I have an equal number on each side? I've read the most watches have less on the six o clock side becasue of wrist shape and because gravity wants to pull it down around the wrist. As far as I can tell the case is centered on my wrist and the clasp is centered on the underside of my wristHow do you wear your watches? Do you have uneven links on each side of the clasp. And this is how the AD set it up for me. Lastly, is this unique to this watch, perhaps?Sorry about this being on a Rolex forum, but I trust the members here above anyone else.Thanks.
Casual stroll through Heathrow, London....
I read on this forum a few months ago that a member just walked into watches of Switzerland in Heathrow and managed to get a Submariner black ceramic steel. This incident just never happens at the airport with a tax free price.I have called up previously on the day of the flight to see if the watch is there, and i have always been told that the stainless steel is hard to come by.So i rock up at heathrow yeaterday afternoon, just about to get a late lunch in the bar a few shops down from WOS. I thought to myself don't bother even asking the salemen as its impossible they'll have one. Then an urge came over me to just walk in and enquire. Asked the nice man 'bit of a silly question...' and before i could even finish the sentence, they guy said 'your going to ask if we have the submariner..... we just got one of each date/non date in 10 minutes ago'. 20 minutes later i walked out with a shiney brand new Sub date, 1k cheaper than the RRP!!! So chuffed!
What a great advertisement
What a nice advertisementWhen the Swedish watch shop was exposed to a smash and grab, they took a photo of the event and printed a poster as it was in the display window in anticipation of a new window. The text says: When the desire for a Rolex is too big. Welcome through the door on the left.
