Omega Celebrates the 35th Anniversary of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Mission
U.S. astronauts Lt. General Thomas Stafford and Vance Brand, and Russian cosmonauts General Alexsei Leonov and Valery Kubasov, joined Omega in New York City in a two-day celebration of the 35th anniversary of the historic Apollo-Soyuz Test Project mission, during which the astronauts and cosmonauts wore the Omega Speedmaster Professional. The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project flew in July, 1975 and marked a high-point for detente. It was the last Apollo mission and the first joint U.S.-Soviet mission. Engineering teams from both sides developed the docking module to link the two spacecraft, and it was there that Apollo commander Stafford (below right) and Soyuz-19 commander Leonov met and shook hands. The event was broadcast live on global television and it was captured 16mm film. The frame below became an iconic image symbolizing the dawn of a new age of superpower cooperation in space.In New York City, Lt. The first is an Alpha Radiomir with a Japanese movement Miyota, probably the best movement Alpha uses, like most of their other watches use enough unreliable Chinese movements with questionable accuracy. On the other hand their cases are very well made and a steal given the ridiculously low prices. This was the perfect mechanical watch if your budget is less than $100.

an advice about the Sub. 116613
HelloI am interested in acquiring a pre-owned Rolex 116613 in this 2018. This watch was presented in 2008 and I suppose it will have had some improvements (it is a guess only) and I would like if you guys can tell me if there were any of those improvements and in what year it was so that at the time of my search I know which year It would have to be to at least have the most modern model. I guess the quote will vary for that reason despite being a used watch. What I know is that in 2010 the series begin to be random and that there were some changes in the models that come with the color blue (there is one that is called Smurf). I also seemed to see in some comments from the past (although I am not sure) that most of you are inclined to the blue. Anyway ... everything that can advise me is welcome.
