Breguet High Jewelry Minute Repeater
In 2008, Breguet introduced a new way of designing minute repeaters, fitting them with re-engineered movements incorporating new materials and featuring innovative positions for the gongs, gong rests and hammers. This patented technique is now available in Breguet minute repeater ref. 7639. The 44.5 mm case houses a minute repeater movement, but some might say the real treasure is on the outside. The 18K white gold case is set with 178 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 11.81 carats. The 18K gold dial is set with 392 princess-cut diamonds that are mounted upside down. The crown is set with one diamond weighing .46 carats. Even the folding buckle is set with 42 diamonds. If you’re keeping score, ref. 7639 carries diamonds totaling about 18 carats. The hand-wound movement, visible through the clear sapphire case back, is engraved by hand with a unique musical decoration. Priced at SFr. 1 million.SPECIFICATIONS Ref. 7639BB/6D/9XV DD0DCase: round in 18K white gold fully set with baguette
Stainless Steel Diver off to Clearwater...
the crown has been acting a bit funny. It feels a little loosey goosey and when i turn it, maybe its an optical illusion but it doesnt seem as if the knob rotates evenly...talked to another TRF'er would had similar concerns and told me to send it in since it could affect it's water resistance (and hence, void warranty should damage happen since I didn't take care of it).My Steelie Diver has been a Daily Wearer since I bought it last year in May. It's seen a few knicks and dings on the rather large bezel. The question now: do I let it keep collecting knicks and bumps? or do I get a fresh bezel put on now that I know how to wear it without ever bumping into anything? (I feel as if any of the cosmetic blemishes I induced onto the bezel were within the first month...after that I got used to compensating for how much real estate my watch takes up when walking and doing daily things)third year warranty extension also being done while it's there. Hopefully they give me one of those cool littl
BaselWorld 2016 - Speedmaster "CK2998" LE
.omegawatches/watches/...master-ck2998/This is so wrong, on so many levels... :( If it wasn't called CK2998, it could have been a handsome watch. But this way it's just a slap in the face of the original, fabulous reference.
Going to Aruba soon - any advice on ADs?
Hi All - Heading for a vacation in Aruba soon, wondering if anyone has done business with ADs in Aruba, and if there are any tips, or salespersons in particular that are worth seeking out. Any thoughts/advice appreciated, thank you!
