Hajime Asaoka Project T Tourbillon Indepedent Japanese Watch
High-end, independent, and self-taught Japanese watchmaker Hajime Asaoka presents his second watch, the Project T Tourbillon - and it is beautiful. We introduced Hajime Asaoka back in 2011 when he released his first Tourbillon watch. The Hajime Asaoka Project T continues where he left off the with first tourbillon, further extending his cool and masculine art deco sense of style.Interestingly enough, the Hajime Asaoka Project T Tourbillon watch is a collaboration project between Hajime Asaoka and two other companies. Is this watch for charity, or with a sports team, or is there some other type of lifestyle connection? No such BS in the world of Hajime Asaoka - for the Hajime Asaoka Project T watch he worked with two tooling and milling companies! One is the OSG Corporation that makes precision cutting tools, and the second is Yuki, a major company that produces precision machining equipment. Of course each helped with the production of the watch. When you are a small independent watchma
Sihh 2018
Is anyone planning on visiting SIHH in Geneva on the 18 January? I've been kindly invited out by AP for that day and wondering if there will be any fellow AP enthusiasts there?
Could it be...
Hi guys, my AP diver was giving the good time before I got my 5712 and it was the only one I whore, but since I have the PP I tend to wear much less the AP, but every morning I wind her up around 20 times. Now after about 2 days having put the exact time on both, the PP is of by 7 seconds, the AP by 34, could it be because even if wounded the lack of wearing it puts it off? It advances overtime by the way, what is the best position to keep it from advancing? Can't see where it could have been magnetized in any case.If you guys know anything that might help thanks for pitching in.
Question about accuracy of 3120 movement
Please accept my apology if this question has been asked before.I had my 15400 for about a week now. I noticed that it is gaining about +2.5 ~ +3 seconds per day. I would comfortably say that it keeps very accurate time even when compared with my Rolex which is COSC certified. However, for the same movement that is housed inside my Diver, it keeps on gaining over +12 seconds per day, though the official AP website stated that this is an acceptable standard up to +15s.Both 15400 & Diver is not my daily beater and I will keep it on my winder when not worn. Both were set to turn in bi-direction with 650 TPD, so the basic winding environment is same to both.I just wonder why the same movement will perform very differently in different model. Is it due to the design and configuration is very different.Any fellow AP owners have experienced this same situation and can help to share some clues.I'm puzzled, please help. Thanks.
