44mm ROO FC vs ROO GP
I am about to pull triger to buy my second AP. My thought already in 44mm ROO FC since from the beginning i am looking for different material and size for my second AP, the first one is AP panda. Now, my very best friend offers me a LNIB AP GP FC with very good deal. Which one should I get? Is the GP better watch than the 44mm FC? Please give me your thoughts. Cherrs,Michael
Buying OEM honey croc strap + deployant from AD
I'm considering making my first foray into the Panerai world, and have found a 40mm piece I'm interested in. It comes on the bracelet, though, and I definitely want a strap.Around how much should I expect to pay for an OEM honey croc strap and polished deployant?Basically this, but OEM instead of aftermarket.I'd go pre-owned but it seems really hard to find these 40mm straps and clasps on the second hand market.
BLNR stocking AD's in US??
Shot in the dark, I know. Sold my BLNR a while back and would like to have another. I see that second hand market is over retail at this point and, while I always respect the hustle of the gray market dealers, I think I would prefer to just find one in stock and pay retail. I put my name down at a local AD who was expecting to get a few in the next week or two but thought I'd see if anyone knows of a local (to them) AD with a BLNR in stock?
Rolex Day Date 40 in rose gold
Hi,Although I have a couple watches (one Rolex and Cartier apiece) I don't know much about watches - I received both of those as gifts.I'm on vacation and I just tried on the Rolex Day Date 40 in rose gold and with a green dial. The Rolex store showed me the MSRP of $35k and said they could go down to $30k. Is that a good price for this watch? I did some quick googling and saw it only from $28k - $32k. However, I'm not sure if they are all the same watch because although they look the same, some say anniversary and other don't.Could someone advise if there are multiple versions of this watch and whether $30k is a good price? I was thinking of countering with $27k, do you think that's doable? Is this considered a good watch in terms of keeping its value in the future?
