Lang & Heyne Augustus I Watch Remembers Your Special Dates
Lang & Heyne out of Dresden, Germany will release a very interesting new calendar watch for 2014, called the Augustus I, named after the 19th century king of Saxony, Frederick Augustus I. The point of the watch is very unique: to have a sort of computational calendar that tracks the dates and anniversaries of 12 custom events or people�C and all in symmetrically attractive dial.Each Augustus I watch will be made to order per the specific wishes of each customer. That is natural because there is no way for Lang & Heyne to make the watch without knowing the the 12 events and their dates. To that effect Lang & Heyne has claimed that they will produce perhaps three Augustus I watches each year. 214270 with leather strap...yay or nay?
I've had this Everest strap for a few months. I tried it out when I bought it and thought it was ok, but didn't love it. So I stuck with the bracelet. We are going to Sicily in a few weeks for vacation and kinda want to make the watch a bit more subtle for our travels...so I thought I'd try out the leather again. I'd like to get some opinions. I think I'm where I was before: I like it...don't love it. And, at first, the bracelet is far more comfortable (to me). But I think to make the watch a bit more casual for the trip it'll work.

White face 116500 vs black face 116500
So I've noticed online that the white face 116500 is being sold at a higher premium than the black face one.... and the difference is a considerable amount...at some places the white face is being sold $2500 USD more than the black face (at swissluxury for example)..... how come? Is this due to more demand of the white face?....also the difference is just a dial swap away, which probably Rolex will do themselves for you if you are ready to purchase the extra dial (if not now, maybe later).... than y such a big premium for a different colour dial?Also how long do you guys think this premium will remain? And scarcity? Meaning it will be easily available at Rolex stores?
