DeWitt’s Wild Antipode
Jerome DeWitt is a charming man who knows how to create suspense, and how to create watches. We entered his elegant booth at Basel and were seated in comfortable chairs around a low table. As the presentation began, Mr. DeWitt produced what looked like a substantial watch on a small stand, covered with a cloth, and he set it on the table, still covered. He moved like a magician holding a bird just placed under a colorful silk. You know the bird is about to disappear, so you focus on it hoping to catch the trick. In this way I focused on the mystery watch under the cloth as other watches were presented. Eventually, the cover lifted… … and fortunately the watch was still there. I've always said that everybody needs a sporty minute repeater tourbillon GMT. If you don't have one yet, I have great news: it's called the Antipode, and it finished a close second to Christophe Claret's DualTow for my personal Holy Smokes! award at Basel 2009. Unlike Mr. DeWitt, I won't keep you wait

Advice Needed - 5164 / 67 x 5711
Hello All,Hope everyone is enjoying summer! To summarize what I'll explain below - I don't know which one to get!!! I do have what I feel are legitimate concerns though, and would love some advice from those who may have these ref's themselves. I had a very nice experience at the Beverly Hills AD today, got to handle the 64 / 67 and 5711. That being said, my concerns on the Aquanaut line were not thoroughly eased by the salesperson. I didn't get the answers I was looking for - so I turn to all of you. Let me start by saying I know I want an ' Everyday Beater ' for lack of a better term. Something I can wear while running, swimming, biking etc. ( I don't baby my watches, they get worn - SkyDwellers come along paddle boarding, Subs go to the gym and Daytonas go to the track, etc )I love the Aquanaut, I'm pretty sold on it, theres the slightest chance of going 5711 but who knows - regardless, I'm a bit concerned that they can't stand up to the rigors of a active daily routine. Now, I did
Undecided.... Grail Hunt
Hi guys. Ok, as alway I need your advice in what would be a better decision. I like movements and PP drive me nuts in a good way in that area. Currently my focus has been set solely on the 5712 in either ss or Rose Gold. Lately , I came across the Patek 5205 (either grey of black) which has a similar dial to the PP 5626. So, what do you guys think? What is the model to go for? Is the 5712 out shined by the 5205? Or, is the 5726 the way to go between those 4? Movement wise, are the 5205 and the 5726 the same? I know the 5712 movement is a beauty with the micro rotor but the 5626 is also great. All that said, thoughts? Knowledge? Words of wisdom? Here are some pics of the models from the Internet.
