Christopher Ward C60 Trident NATO Watch Honors James Bond
Omega wants us to remember?that the James Bond films are 50 years old in 2012. Rolex is the historic watch on 007's wrist, and when it comes down to it, every man wants a watch with an included laser cutter and grappling hook. As a bit of an homage to the classic "James Bond" Rolex from 1954, Christopher Ward has released a version of their C60 Trident watch (reviewed here) with a specially colored bezel on a NATO strap. This version of the hot-selling C60 Trident Automatic has an olive green colored bezel insert and comes with a striped NATO-style strap. The steel watch is 42mm wide and pretty thin at 13mm. Over the dial is a sapphire crystal and inside the watch is a Swiss ETA 2824 (or equivalent Sellita) automatic movement. There are many versions of the C60 Trident watch and this is just one of them. Each is pretty nice and I like that Christopher Ward takes a good thing and offers enough versions to suit most anyone's taste. Price for this C60 Trident Automatic Nato version is $480
AP ROC Panda 26331
Hi all,I'm new to the forum and I've recently picked up my first AP and I'm blown away by the quality and style of the watch, specially the stunning steel bracelet.I own a few Rolexes but this has quickly become my new favorite watch. I heard APs are scratch magnets compared to Rolexes, is that true? I guess this would be the special occasion wear for now...Anyway, I'm glad to join the AP family and will definitely own another one in the future!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Brother for an Ultra Thin
Guys,I already have an AP15202 aka Ultra Thin... which was my Grail and I am thinking (just thinking) of starting to think of maybe adding an AP to this Grail. So if it was you what would you accompany it with (consider you only have this one watch the ultra thin).Pictures are welcomeWael
Redundancy...
Hi guys, I really have a passion for 5711/12 models, especially the SS blue dials for both, followed by the RG pieces for both models, and the WG ones are not bad but not on top of my list, I don't like much the 5711 white dial though.Maybe I am crazy but I am considering flipping my 5726 and getting one of the following, 5167 in SS or RG, or 5711 either blue dial or a mint RG version, of course the 5711 would be redundant with already a 5712 in the stable but I really love these watches, even if I prefer by a small margin the 5712 over 5711, I still like it a lot, the 5726 is a great watch, but I prefer way more the ultra thin aspect of the 5711/12 pieces over the much thicker 5726.Having an AC is nice but I realize that I never look at it, I always know what day it is and what month, the only thing I do check sometimes is the date. I love the moon phase but I already have it on my 5712 so it's not something special. From the start I favored complications above all, I thought the 5712
