ROO NAVY THEMES VS BLACK THEMES 26170st
Hey all- I am looking into adding a navy themes or black themes 26170st to my collection. I currently have a ROO Diver. I like the idea of having the gator, metal, and rubber straps as they are all interchangeable. Ideally I think I would like the Navy Themes as it has the white sporty dial that goes with everything. Would look great with a navy or white rubber strap as well as bracelet and the gator, of course.Thoughts of Having the Diver and Black Themes as my two daily pieces as opposed to the diver and navy?I am looking at used G and H serials. I'd course want the newest which would impact my decision as well. Panda is an option, but I think out of the three navy and black are preferable. What are your thoughts? I could use some help. Thanks!
Illuminating dial markers/hands
Hello all,Just to share a piece of info I picked up along the way and invite any similar experiences.I recently found out that if your hour markers/hands on your omega are becoming dull or almost non existent you can apparently re-charge them by shining a bright light into the face for a few seconds.I have tried with a bright torch (only thing I could think of to do the job) which did brighten the dials up a bit but did not seem to make any permanent improvement.Has anyone else got any experience or similar tips ?As always feedback greatly appreciated.Paul
New Ellipse
So what do you think for the upcoming Ellipse anniversary considering the discontinuation of the 3738 in all metals but not of the 5738P? A not so bold guess would be three new 5738 in G, R and J. Or maybe a totally new ref in similar size and probably sapphire back. The 240 is very beautiful so that would be very nice. What are your guesses and hopes?Pic of my 3738/100J. Henkan
