Audemars Piguet Watchmaking Class In Silicon Valley
The week after the official availability date of the Apple Watch, while many are trying to formulate an opinion after having tried or received the new smartwatch, Audemars Piguet, one of the few remaining family-owned, independent watchmaking giants held a master watchmaking class in the center of Silicon Valley, San Francisco.Having taken part in various watch industry events, I sort of knew to expect a first class glitzy affair, as luxury brands tend to offer to their precious clientele. Incoming Hopefully Not Outgoing [Poll Included]
I am happy to announce I got my AP Diver today, complete with 2 straps that totally don't fit...LOL...Ok they almost fit on the tightest notch, and I wore today after taking a sauna to expand my wrists...haha. But I did order 2 new ones from AP, I am just trying to decide if the watch is too big for my 6.3-6.4 inch wrists.Lugs are right at the brink of hanging over, but not as bad as AP 44 Novelty I briefly tried last year. Comfort is better as well.I love love love the design, and my only concern is size.It is also very comfortable even with a fairly loose fit.I think I might be able to pull it off with the smaller straps.What do you guys think? Omega Service Center (NJ) - Horrible Service
I owned a SeaMaster for about 10 years and finally I sent it in for service.It came back with all the edges on my case rounded off. I was upset because my bracelet was fine. They also broke the extension clasp. Omega service (NY) or Swatch group, whatever, replaced the clasp but never rectified the rounding/over polishing of the edges. Their service was less than par and I have to say this but I will NEVER buy an Omega again. BTW, my watch needs service again because it now loses about 5 min/month. When I sent it in it only lost about a minute or so. I do NOT trust their service. Someone else I know had their Sea Master come back with a broken bezel. WTF?

Who was on the fence to make a new Rolex purchase and are buying now??

Owning DJ 41 round and flute Bezel
Hello everybody, I am currently owning DJ 41 round bezel and tempting to get another one with flute bezel. I am not so sure if that is a good idea or i should diversify a bit more to other brand/model. Does anyone here own more than one DJ 41 model?PS. I am currently looking to add some more dress watch into my collection. Your comments are highly appreciated. Thxxxx
