Birth year speedy
So, I just ran into a random guy while I was out tonight. After a few drinks and shared experiences, he told he me he has a speedmaster and not only that, it is my birth year speedy and a full set. I did get his contact info and I'm hoping I may make a deal with him soon as he is not that attached to it and has upcoming daughter engagements. No pics at this time, I just wanted to share the excitement for me. I'm hoping it might make out in my favor :)
9300 movement with chrono running constantly?????
Can the Speedmaster 9300 stand the chronograph running continuously? I like chronographs but do like to see the big central second hand running and wondered if the movement is designed for and/or robust enough? Thanks in advance for any replies.
Cant buy a Patek
I own two Rolexes then decided to get a nice Patek I am only interested in sports models Aquanaut or Nautilus and seems its impossible to get in the UK I contacted many dealers with no response or watch is unavailable not even info how long to order one not really interested in second hand either as this will be my first special piece and grey dealers want a massive premium I have seen one 5167 steel on a rubber preowned for ��19000 Don't know what to do maybe its not meant to be.

Hi guys!It's that time for me again...2014 was a good year at work, and it's time to spend some bucks on a new watch! I've had my PAM183 for a little over a year now, and I've really enjoyed it.For the most part, I've been a fan of minimal watches, but now I'm starting to consider something different. Here are some of my thoughts, although I'm very open to change:- I've never had a chrono- I value the GMT function- My wrist can handle a 47mm- I generally can't stomach the Luminor's crown guard, but it looks okay on the left-handersI was wondering if you guys could make suggestions for my second PAM? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts Thanks!
