Squale 101 Atmos ref 2002A Orange and Black Review
It is entirely possible that you have never heard of Squale watches. Sure, it's a brand that has been around for over 60 years, but not until very recently have they come back from a sort of brand hibernation. However, back in the 60's and 70's, Squale was literally one of the top producers of dive watchcases and dive watches. They produced cases for many brands, from Tag Heuer to Doxa to Blancpain (source). They not only produced robust and well-designed cases, but made genuinely technologically innovative watches. One particularly advanced watch was the 101 Atmos, released in the late 60's, which claims to be the first 1000m dive watch without a helium escape valve and features a unique bezel design. In 2010, the brand began to produce watches again, sticking to remaking of their famous watches from the past, many of which fit right in with modern divers in terms of style and features. The 101 Atmos ref 2002A is one such watch, and is a recreation of that famous watch from the late 60
Breitling Emergency on BBC Top Gear
Did anyone catch tonight's show? I don't think it did Breitling any favours as he never got rescued. The beacon was picked up though!
Please confirm -- strap interchangeability on the older Aquanaut 5167
hi guys,I've seen a post here that started with discussion why some Aquanaut had Swiss made at bottom of dial and some had not.See pic's form members here, to ilustrateIt turned out that apparently newer version of Aquanaut had the SM, besides other differences. One of that difference is the matter of this question -- is it confirmed that older versions of Aquanaut 5167 ( NO SM ) cannot interchange rubber with SS bracelet and vice-versa?best
Regulator 5235G for 2013?
Does anyone have any info on the release date of this piece? I was told months ago that this would be released in late 2013 by Tiffany and Co. in NYC but failed to see it in this year's Baselworld line up or on Patek's site. Any info would be appreciated.
Will Demand for the New Pepsi GMT Affect Demand for the Hulk?
Two different watches, certainly, but am curious about thoughts on whether the availability and hype of this newest model, with an improved movement, might affect the demand for the Hulk a bit. That would be overall, and possibly among those who may be on waiting lists for both watches. If they came in at the same time and you could only afford one at the moment, which would you pull the trigger on? Would you wait for the Pepsi if it was a later availability instead, (USA) and if you expected funds would not otherwise be there in full? Also, thoughts about whether production/availability of the present Hulk might open up a little more if Rolex is contemplating making movement changes and re-styling the Sub, for the next Basel or otherwise. My SS preferences at the moment are to acquire a Hulk and one of the new OP 39mms in white. Interested in getting opinions as to whether Hulk availability is going to continue totally as is, or perhaps may get a little better. Thanks.
