PVD/DLC talk - post your pics
Pros: -Looks awesome-Unique-People see it as a statement or rareCons:-Rolex won't touch a coated watch so you have to service it at another center (but, you can de-coat it and they will service it for you after it's restored to its original state)-PVD tends to wear off and rack up scratches after a while and its not pretty (can't say it adds character on this one) but depending on the quality of the coating it can make it more or less scratch resistant. -DLC apparently makes the steel a few times stronger than normal.Im curious to know what everybody thinks of a PVD/DLC watch and how many have them? After completing a search on the Forum, it would appear a thread for this reference has never been created.
