Only in New York: The New Hublot King Power 692 Bang
The city that never sleeps meets the watch brand that never rests: this week, fresh from serving as official timer of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Hublot launched a new limited-edition watch that will be exclusive to its flagship New York City boutique, the Hublot King Power 692 Bang. The Hublot King Power 692 Bang, limited to just 26 pieces, made its debut at a cocktail event held at the brand’s Madison Avenue boutique that featured Champagne, hors d’oeuvre and music from local New York DJs Sabrina Burda and Natalie Doge. The watch, which has the traditionally large King Power case, here made of microblasted black ceramic, sports a black-and-yellow color scheme inspired, Hublot says, by the iconic New York City taxi cabs that line the busy streets of Manhattan. The caseback of the Hublot King Power 692 Bang is inscribed with a sketch of the Hublot Madison Avenue Boutique’s facade (the “692” in the watch’s moniker signifies the actual street address, 692 M
Basel Preview: Breitling Bentley GT Ice & Bentley GT Racing Ice
At Baselworld 2011, Breitling will introduce special all-white Ice versions of the the Bentley GT and Bentley GT Racing chronographs. These chronographs, already distinguished by their size, which is more compact than the other Breitling for Bentley models making them suited to all wrists, now also offer a distinctive and instantly-identifiable look. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. This new look couples an Ice White dial C an exclusive Bentley livery color C with a rubber strap in the same shade. The dials, enhanced by rimmed counters, evoke the dashboards of Bentley Grand Tourers. The bezel with its knurled motif is reminiscent of the marque’s control buttons. The “chassis” of the Bentley GT Ice chronograph has a steel case with an all-polished finish, while the Bentley GT Racing Ice version is distinguished by finishes alternating between satin-brushed upper surfaces and polished sides, and its caseback bears a medallion with the outline of the famous Bentley C
The New Breitling Avenger Seawolf Chronograph From WatchReport.com
Breitling's newest watch to come out of Basel this year is the Avenger Seawolf Chronograph. Combining the versatility and reliability of the Avenger line with the water resistance of the Seawolf, Breitling seems to be getting as serious about diving as they are about aviation.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is in collaboration with the US Navy Seals
And the latest limited edition parts Jaeger-LeCoultre in collaboration with the US Navy Seals, are certainly not for the average man. Aptly named as Master Compressor watches, these watches are inspired by the gear used by the elite and clandestine unit of the U.S. armed forces.
Transocean, thoughts?
Hi all,I have not delve into B retiring in a long time. And never thought I would until I saw a Transocean while passing a local jeweler. I did a double take on a black one on mesh bracelet. I just loved the simplicity of the dial, as I wear suits for work, and the refined look. Didn't look like a Breitling. The black dial would complement the rest of my collection. Questions; How is that mesh bracelet? Is is comfortable and versatile? What kind of strap can I put on it if I wanted a different look?Any comments and pictures greatly appreciated as I am eager to add it to my collection. Thanks and Happy New Year to all!Roger
