Mexico City's Watch Show: What The SIAR Is Like
You don't get warnings before traveling to most cities �C at least I don't �C but I did get a few precautionary tales before traveling a few hours south of Los Angeles via plane to Mexico City. One of the highest altitude cities in the world, Mexico City is also one of the most populated, with about 20 million people. It is vastly spread out over a wide area, and the colorful buildings add a friendly sheen to what is in reality a mixture of haves and have-nots in what I understand to be a rather dangerous place. Navitimer "joining the Breitling ranks soon"
I just put a Navitimer World on layaway. I intend to pick it up soon. The 46mm diameter dial is larger than anything else I currently have. Thats part of the reason I like it. The whole look of the dial with the slide rule function and red GMT hand is why I fell so hard for it.Ah the wait begins, the sweet feeling of anticipation........................

Silicone balance spring
This should be good for a laugh,,,,,,I went to an Omega Dealer yesterday to look at a Planet Ocean and the salesman told me that one of the features of the co-axial movement was the silicone rubber balance spring,and when I asked if he meant silicone rubber,not silicon steel,he said yes and also that it was non magnetic.I didn`t try to correct him seeing as we were getting along fine up until that moment so I ignored his statement and it wasn`t until I got home several hours later that I remembered it and burst out laughing.I think that has to be a new record for absurdity and misinformation from salestaff.
