Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph Ref. 5980 Watch
New Patek Philippe watches for 2010 didn't exactly make me jump for joy, but I did like the two new additions to the Nautilus collection. No new movements, but new implementations in the Nautilus cases. Here is the Nautilus Chronograph (ref. 5980 in steel and 5980R in gold), and I also liked the Nautilus Annual Calendar Ref. 5726 that I wrote about here. What I like about the layout of the Patek Philippe Caliber CH 280520 C is that is it is a 12 hour chronograph that looks like a watch with only a subsidiary seconds dial (more or less) - and is still easy to read. Pretty nice looking addition to Patek's sport watch collection.See my article on the Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph watch on AskMenwatches-dealer here.See Patek Philippe watches on eBay here.See Patek Philippe watches on Amazon here. New 5960's
What do we think of the 2 new 5960's? I kinda like the bkue dial on strap, if I was looking for a cool chrono with AC I would definitely consider it. Anyone wanting to take the plunge on one?Just wonder how will prices hold as we know they haven't been great on the other 5960's, but for an interesting Patek with complications, at a reasonable price, it is quite in a hard range to beat IMG_0388.PNGIMG_0389.PNGIMG_0390.PNG
Excited to join the Patek Philippe club!
I would like to introduce myself to the Patek Philippe forum. I had an extra special Mardi Gras this year, with the arrival of my Nautilus 5713. I know that some are not fans of diamonds on a man's watch but to me, it gave the classic Genta design a wow factor that is even better than I expected, now that I have it on my wrist! I believe this reference was introduced around 2008-2009 and has since been discontinued (does anyone know when?). I am also interested in knowing roughly how many of these were produced? I look forward to learning from you all and to contributing to the forum for years to come!
Straps for 47mm PAMs
So I'm in the market for 26mm straps and could use some suggestions. I haven't been in the strap market for a while, having mostly used OEM straps for 44mm models. What would you guys suggest? 26x26, 26x24, 26x22? Short or long tail? Burnished v rough edges? Sewn-in buckle v screw in? (Pics would be appreciated)
Oyster Bracelet Additional Link?
I am looking for an additional link for my Polar Expll. The bracelet is ref 78790. My question is does the replacement link need to come from an identical bracelet or would a link from say a 93150 bracelet fit??Thanks David
