Greubel Forsey Opens New Manufacture
Greubel Forsey has consolidated its activities within new headquarters and workshops in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The dedicated building, located close to the Eplatures airport, is the new to home to the four companies created by Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey, and jointly run by the two founders along with CEO Emmanuel Vuille: Greubel Forsey, CompliTime, CT Design and CT Time. Over one hundred people will move to the new location from the Ancien Mange and other sites where Greubel Forsey started. The new workshops are composed of two distinctive buildings: the first is a 17th century farmhouse renovated by Mr. Gilles Tissot, an expert in the renovation of Neuchatel-style historical buildings. Omega Speedmaster 376.0822 Grail
Thought some of you Omega aficionados might enjoy these shots of my Omega Speedmaster 376.0822. It's a firm favourite of mine and my current daily wearer:
Pam 560
I've been reading reviews and watching videos on the many Panerai models.I'm focused on a base model, hour-minute only, with the sandwich dial. The 560 keeps popping up as fitting my criteria. I have a 7 wrist and don't want a watch the looks like a strapped on pocket watch.I current wear Rolex, DayDate, DateJust, and GMT II.I'd appreciate seeing opinions on the 560 vs other base models.
Trading / Flipping - Is it worth it?
A bit of a general question here.I have a few watches that I don't really wear and am looking to get rid of them while buying something new. I have never sold any of my watches before and I was wondering what sort of percentage of retail is to be expected when trading a watch, I realise there are multiple factors such as desirability etc. As an example lets assume I wanted to trade a Datejust that would retail for around $4,000 and purchase a newer Datejust that would retail for around $7,000. What kind return should I expect on the watch to be sold?
