Last year’s headliner watch from Ma?tres du Temps was undeniably the innovative Chapter Three Reveal �� but the haute-de-gamme brand, which teams up noted independent watchmakers to produce limited, complicated models, also released a version of its Chapter Two timepiece in a sporty, round case, nicknamed TCR, for Triple Calendar Round.Ma?tres du Temps Chapter Two TCR is the brainchild of Daniel Roth and Peter Speake-Marin, two of today’s most famous and accomplished watchmakers, and has a movement developed by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, the Swiss movement manufacturer that also makes exclusive calibers for Parmigiani and, recently, for Herm��s. Watch Display Case Organizes My Growing Collection
Big Project this weekend. My watch collection was turning into a mire. I had a simple watch case, a couple of watch winders, and an overflowing collection of watches that was organically taking over various parts of my living space. Something had to be done. But what? If you have spent any time looking for watch cases, winders, etcyou will know that they are overpriced, often of dubious quality, and typically not exactly what you are looking for. Alternatively, you can be wowed by Orbita's 40 watch winder cabinet, and then be awed and angered over its $50,000 price tag. What is a collector to do? Well I finally took things into my own hands and set up a great watch arrangement.I went on eBay and found a watch store that was selling a commercial watch display case which was perfect for what I needed. I ended up winning the auction and getting the over 6 foot tall, and 5 foot wide display case for about $100.00. Luckily I was able to pick up the item myself. The case was perfect for wh

New pick up - Aquanaut!
I've has this for a few days now and am loving this watch. I haven't posted many picks because of travels but I took a few with my iPhone that I'll post below. The watch is very light and is super comfortable to wear. The finishing is top notch and is a pleasure to behold. The dial is interesting with the different shades of grey and black, depending how the light hits it. It's got clean lines and is not busy at all. The applied numerals and hands are also beautifully done.The rubber strap is great if you want something with a non-bracelet look. The strap works great all year, but specifically for the more hot and humid months. This could easily be a daily wear watch. The movement is beautifully displayed and is finished as you would expect from PP. I really enjoy looking at it after taking the watch off at night.To summarize in 2 words: highly recommended. ETA models being discontinued
Hi All,I was talking to the Panerai salesman in Harrods yesterday. He said all ETA model were being discontinued for the in house movement. So the models like the 111 would no longer by continued. All movements would how 8 days. Price increase was going to be ��700. Can anyone else verify this?

Make sense to buy abroad?
I am traveling in India and noticed there is a boutique nearby. If I go in and find a SS would it make sense to buy? It would be a nice souvenir from the trip, but I am not sure what import duties would be to the US. Does anyone have experience with this?
