the new Versace watch contains tiny pieces of mother-of-pearl
The exclusive material used for the case and buckle of the new Versace watch contains tiny pieces of mother-of-pearl that give them a stunning finish. It adsorbs the daylight and then provides the watch with a glamorous shine when night falls. The material has been professionally tested to provide not only beauty but also supreme comfort on the wrist.
Any jewelers that can polish AP bezels?
Guys i have a 18K rubberclad and i want to remove the rubber and have the bezel polished. The bezel is already off the watch. I know lots of shops/jewelers have done this. Does anyone know of anyone i can send the bezel to? AP themselves wont do this.
Daytona 116509 grey racing dial or AP 15400st black dial
Which one would you guys choose? I know we're on the Rolex forum but any other opinions or pros and cons of either would be appreciated. I would just like some discussion to help make my mind up!I am after a pride of place watch and I was about to buy the AP 15400st (2016) for ?12500 (I understand you can get a discount on new ones in the US?) when I saw the 2013 116509 for ?16000.I know there is a price difference but that is not the point, either of these will be the most I have ever spent on a watch. This buy is for a watch that I will keep rather than sell on, having said that value retention is still important to me. I really liked the AP and still do but the 116509... It just seems more special. Thanks all
Critical dissection of some Patek Basel 2017 Releases
I thought I'd share my views. Please take with a grain of salt and please chime in one way or another. 1.5131P – The highly anticipated worldtimer to complete the foursome of the collectible enamel worldtimers. I like the idea of the map layout, but will all the white/snow on the dial affect the contrast with the hands making it less legible? I think I prefer the R and the J that have a certain warmth. And why did Patek have to go with a bracelet? I saw online that this will now weigh close to half a pound! Totally unnecessary…. 5131_1P_001.png2.5960G – While the watch looks more appealing than the silver dialed steel counterpart, this is a very strange move that may hurt the value of the 5960P with blue dial which was rarer than the grey dialed 5960P. Patek probably could care less, but a nod to your loyal collector base would be nice by not reissuing essentially the same dial in a white gold case. Now that we are on topic, a few big collectors are quite upset that
Patek Philipe Nautilus - dilemma
I am in a market for my first PP and am contemplating for PP 5712G-001 white gold or 5712-1A. I am actually looking for more of a leather strap watch because I have a Rolex Daytona SS black, Daytona rose gold, and Daytona TT panda.Which PP would be your choice?Hotshot888
