Unbeatable GRAHAM Chronofighter Oversize Black Label Limited edition of 500
A more pronounced contrast is between black and gold. It is also one of the most noble. This is why Graham chose these two colours for a special limited edition of the Chronofighter oversized. Almost everything is obviously on this Watch Gold shining.

Bring a Loupe: Two Oversized Vacherons, One Very Slim Piaget, And One Promising Chronograph From Longines
This week's Bring A Loupe will feature an early Autavia chronograph from Heuer, and reveal another from Longines – a true eBay find in all its glory, horrendous pictures included. We will also look into watches with some very special dimensions, starting with the first ultra-thin Piaget with automatic movement, and then examining two incredible Vacheron Constantins, both with oversized cases in pink gold. This is your Bring A Loupe for November 6, 2015. An Early Heuer Autavia Reference 2446 Second Generation 1 OF 11 Two weeks ago we covered in depth an early Autavia that ultimately fetched $45,000 on eBay and today it kind of starts over. Well, this Autavia is not as rare, as it is the second execution of the reference 2446 with screw-back case. In comparison to the first execution that we had spotted earlier, the difference is minute, but for a Heuer aficionado it means a lot: the hands are not full lume anymore, you can see their frame here. This or that? 5726 vs. 5711
Apologies in advance for another this or that thread, but I am having horology nightmares as I try to close in on something..... Only one place to turn at this point. I thought my mind was made up on the 5711 and now this morning for some reason I started thinking this might be a mistake. All last week I was browsing annual calendar references and I think it has gotten to me. I don't own anything beyond a date complication. I own a 5167A that I have not been wearing a ton (I have been going more and more to the AP Forged Carbon Diver for a rubber strap). Anyway, here are my thoughts:5711 (blue dial)1. Most gorgeous blue dial I've ever seen.2. Slim and elegant.3. Hard to find, but easy to resell if I go nuts down the road later which has been known to happen. 5726 (charcoal dial on bracelet)1. Dial options are meh.... in my humble opinion. I would get the charcoal and would get it on bracelet. 2. Beefier case which is a pro for me personally.3. Will finally own a complicated watch but
What does your watch mean to you?
I know to many of us our watches are a hobby. We enjoy collecting them and admiring them on our wrist. But for me that all changed about 2 years ago. I actually came down with a life changing illness. For about a year things looked terrible, didn't know if I would ever go back to work again etc. But I worked hard and I struggled. I eventually bounced back and I can truly say that I am a different person for it. Then about one year ago I decided to get knee surgery since I had hit all my deductibles. It was a minor surgery that I have put off for years, but I realized that I want to enjoy every minute of my life from now on. To commemorate that I wanted something special as well. I ended up buying my first Rolex. I have always wanted a Milgauss, especially since I am an engineer. It was one of those things that I always wanted but was not on the front burner. But I after I came back from my illness I realized that life is short. I have to enjoy it within moderation. I can
